What the job involves
We start by shutting off the water to the old fixture, then disconnecting it and taking it out. If the new fixture doesn't match the old setup—like if the holes in the sink don't line up—we might need to adjust things or patch some holes. We check the water lines and drains to make sure they're in good shape before hooking up the new fixture. Then we test it to be sure there are no leaks and everything drains right. If you're switching to a low-flow faucet or shower head, we'll make sure it's set up to give you the pressure you expect.

How long does fixture installation take?
Most single fixtures like a faucet or shower head take about an hour if everything goes smoothly. Toilets can take a little longer, especially if the flange needs adjusting. If we run into older pipes that need work or supply lines that have to be replaced, it might add another hour or so. We'll let you know as soon as we see what's under there.
Do I need to buy the fixtures myself?
You can buy them if you have something specific in mind, but we can also bring options if you'd rather see what's out there. Just let us know what you're looking for—like a certain finish or a low-flow model—and we'll make sure it fits your setup. Avoid big-box store bargain fixtures; they often leak or break sooner than ones made for pros to install.
Will you haul away the old fixtures?
Yes, we take the old ones with us unless you want to keep them. If you're replacing a toilet, we'll break it down so it fits in the truck. We don't charge extra for haul-off, but if you have a lot of old fixtures piled up from a remodel, we might need to schedule a separate trip for that.
